I know I am way late on this, but it's just now effecting me.
What was wrong with the old one? I mean, you could read comments without having to go to the video and reply.
Youtube screws up some more stuff again I guess,

How can people even see who is replying to who anymore? I hit the reply button on a comment and no '+Username' appears

back then my friends and i would compare who has the most favorited videos. it was ALL old day memes and music. id pay a lot of money to see that playlist again, but sadly it is gone

late = 2007-2009
then the start of the decade just counts as what it is: 2000

why cant they fix youtube man, recommended bar, home screen recommendations and comments have been forgeted for years now
and from time to time on mobile and computer the video just unlikes itself
