Author Topic: [NEWS] Mexican border wall to be paid by US taxpayers, agency cuts; not Mexico  (Read 9689 times)

The CIA/NSA black project budget is over $50 billion per year.  We could stop hacking phones and assassinating journalists for just one year and have enough cash to build the wall twice as high.  It's a win-win.

MM knows all about this

The CIA/NSA black project budget is over $50 billion per year.  We could stop hacking phones and assassinating journalists for just one year and have enough cash to build the wall twice as high.  It's a win-win.

This too. The last thing you wanna do when finding needles in a haystack is to throw in more hay.

Disadvantages to the wall:
-Inconveniencing people who live near the border or want to travel across the border
-Government using eminent domain to steal fellow citizens land in order to build the wall
-Paid for by wasting 20-40+ billion dollars worth of YOUR tax money (Assuming you live in the US), and taking money from the budgets of extremely important government areas like the EPA, Department of Education, etc
(None of which is coming from Mexico, that was a lie) (It's not coming from the CIA either)
-Destroying the habitats of hundreds of different species of animals, causing irreversible damage to the ecosystem and potentially leading to full-blown extinctions
-Not only taking money from extremely important government agencies, but also failing to distribute cash to try to take care of the actual problem: Overstaying visas
-Easily defeated in dozens of different ways: Going around, above, under, really anything except through the wall is a viable strategy to get past it.
-Won't be equipped with any sort of camera system, and no plans have been heard about having it patrolled the entire way 24/7 as would be necessary to stop people going over
-Plenty of room for sneaky corruption and money funneling to a company that has Donald's, or Donald's benefactors "interest" in mind
-Will make it significantly tougher for illegal immigrants wishing to leave the country to actually leave, meaning more illegal immigrants in the country at any given time

Pros:
+Has a slight chance of balancing out the number of illegal immigrants it kept inside the country, meaning we've spent 20-40+ billion dollars of taxpayer money for a net effect of zero
+A couple thousand construction jobs for the duration of his presidency, lowering unemployment by 0.00063% (Yes, I calculated it)

>meme warfare
This is what humanity descended to, top kek
forgetig meme warfare I cant even. The idea is so loving stupid and hilarious at the same time. Do you imagine grown men making some stuffty 9gag memes and posting them over the internet for a living?
Imagine having a tour trough some cia building and the tour guide is like "and here is the meme division" while pointing at some super high tech nasa room thing made just for stuffposting

People like to make fun of this but it's possibly the most dangerous area of research they were involved in - because it's the most likely to go out of control.  Stuxnet was an advanced and likely heavily tested cyber weapon running on completely deterministic computers and it still got out into the wild, luckily it didn't do any damage, but it still got out.  The way actual human brains process, alter and spread the ideas they're given wildly unpredictable.  I mean a cartoon frog played a critical role in the failure of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.  You can't tell wtf is going to happen.  Mass hysteria is real and tinkering with it is dangerous.

loves me some maga pepe :p

Wait, I forgot a pro. You can grafitti mean words about Mexico on their side of the wall and get paid a crisp 20 dollar bill signed by Annoying Orange himself

As an example you can look at police strikes.  With no police on duty, many people take the opportunity to commit crimes and it can literally collapse civilization within a short period of time.  Let's say it's 0.5% of people who decide to descend into lawlessness.  Typical police numbers are around one officer for every 500-1000 people or 0.1% to 0.2% - so even if the police were on duty they would be overwhelmed by 0.5% of people committing crimes all at once.  It's not actually the lack of police that presents the danger, it's the idea of the lack of police.  If people are convinced they won't get caught, then they'll come out in such numbers that they won't.  It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, driven solely by an idea.
