apparently, youtube is blocking lgbt videos for having "potentially objectionable content" if restricted mode is turned on, and because this would give the impression that lgbt videos aren't family friendly, a lot of people are freaking out

There is like literally no precedent for Youtube/Google targeting homoloveuals, so this is probably just a misunderstanding and a glitch in the way their website blocks videos. It will definitely get resolved and there will probably be apologies involved.

google is incredibly supportive of the lgbt movement, if they come out saying: "we stand by what we say" they'll get a lot of stuff for it
