Trouble connecting to my own server.

I've been trying to connect to my server which is hosted on a laptop running ubuntu server 16.04 but i either get a runtime error or it just gets stuck on loading datablocks.

My Linux PC has Wine and this script made by Greek2Me (and requirements) from this post https://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=254544.0
