why is chile not on the list
it's barely 2nd world in here
First, second, and third worlds mean to which countries your country is allied to after the cold war. If it's allied to the capitalism sphere/NATO, it's first world. (US, EU, UK, Japan) if it's allied to the ex-soviet sphere, it's a second world country (Russia), and if it's in between or never got a chance to ally itself, it's a third world. It has nothing to do with poverty but lots of third world countries are bathing in poverty. Or should I say they aren't bathing.
Chile would be a third world country like Argentina and Brazil.
