Author Topic: amazon and the "incorrect password"  (Read 5927 times)

I wanted to buy a laptop off Amazon, I had the cash just not a card. so I went to CVS yesterday and got the exact amount from cash to gift card. Everything goes smoothly and i buy the laptop.

today, I tried to sign in the track my laptop's shipping.

"password is incorrect"

after numerous amounts of tries knowing I had the exact password, I decide to click the 'forgot password'. I reset my password and reenter it only to find the "password incorrect" again". I end up resetting it many times each time failing with the same "password incorrect".

I haven't received any emails from Amazon so far besides the auto confirmation of my order and my password resets.

So I called customer service, and they said my account was pending for reasons such as "the transaction failed" or some mishap. the thing is I was supposed to receive an email if my transaction failed.

The guy said a account specialist would call me in the next 24 hours.

tdlr: no matter if I type in the correct password or not, I can't sign into my account to track my package

Can you guys take a shot of why my account can't sign in? I'm pretty nervous right now as I spent a couple hundreds on those gift cards

I hope that the package is still in transit: I only received the email confirming I bought it and that the shipping email would come soon
