Author Topic: Elon Musk founds Neuralink to pioneer merging human brains with AI  (Read 1557 times)

i certainly don't. elon musk says a lot of stuff (remember that solar battery to fuel an entire house? commercial spacecraft to mars for low prices?) but I don't think any of his wild tech promises have ever come true. really annoying guy tbh. total bs artist

Technology helped us evolve, but technology is evolving faster than humans. Pretty soon technology will be the apex species, it will act as a parasite, use our resourcefulness to multiply, just as we have to domesticated animals! it will use us until we are no longer needed!

god help us all

will it do a glados

if it doesn't i will be dissapointed

nex ex machina, diaboli ex machina

elon musk is a supervillian

the next step will be virtual reality, where humans will find a more favorable alternative to real life. instead of focusing on our survival, we'll whither away, fail to maintain our bodies, become overweight and wither into a state of vegetation. we need to put it on ourselves to exact self control, avoid relying on the machine for personal happiness.

if we rely on the technology, then it'll have leverage over us. we'll become its slaves. hold on to your humanity before the machines take it from you!

i'm ready

elon musk take me now where do i sign up to become a cyborg

finally i can merge my brain with a computer and develop a program to kill myself

elon musk is a supervillian
the cool supervillian that has the sick gadgets

I would rather not replace my brain with technology. Disregarding the philosophic concerns of death, I rather like having emotions. It's what makes us individuals. Becoming logical cyborgs is like... Losing what makes us human, I guess.

I think AI/cyborg stuff is close enough within our grasp that we can go ahead and go for it

because im the smartest person who has ever walked the planet, im going to be immortal. this is the first step in the technology that leads to my rise as the dictator of Goarth (Gock-Earth)
