I play on 1080p and usially keep it on high/medium/whatever setting gives me 60fps or more

I do plan on using 3 monitors in the future and I doubt my 960 can handle

I have two 650s running two monitors, and can run almost everything decently well. 960 is much better, and there's no need to be wasteful if you have another PCI-E slot on your motherboard, so my suggestion is to get a second one instead. Save some money that way, and get a phone, too. Sure, it might not be too of the line, but this is how you get more for less money.

Imo unless if you're gonna upgrade to multi monitors in the next 1 - 2 months, then stick with the 960 and get the phone first. It is not the end of the world and I'm sure you can live with a 960 so you don't get forgeted over with your old phone.

Moto Z is a rly good one

O the lg k7 / k10 / x power are VERY solid budget phones as well

If your phone isnt 100% working, then obviously buy a new phone. I suggest the Moto Z Play for ~374.76 euro
keep in mind thats a pretty rough estimate since I used Google but you get the point
