Author Topic: [NEWS] 14 arrested at Berkeley, CA protest over Annoying Orange's tax returns  (Read 7532 times)

My family is in Cali, and I lived there for most of my life.

Set aside personal goals to raise two awesome kids?
And that warrants looking down on people.. how?

Set aside personal goals to raise two awesome kids? These are the entitled stuffs that graduate on daddy's money and don't go anywhere.
that's some broad generalization

If you have time to march about someone's loving tax returns you're probably an entitled stuff.

If you have time to complain about people marching, you're probably just an starfish.

only fathers would understand  :panda:

Aren't you special

california should be nuked
Dont worry
Dennis Rodman's Pal will do that for us
He tries to threaten us but he only will be doing us a favor

a lot of the more academically minded dont either. they may support protesting but not actually go out and protest, let alone supporting rioting. its mostly the sjw types that do it, aka lib arts majors
to expand on this, the vast majority of the stem field professors also avoid politics whenever possible. only the lib arts has any notable outspoken opinions

a lot of the best and brightest minds came from this uni. idk how you can totally ignore that fact. and even for those who don't graduate as straight up geniuses, those people go to work at big tech companies creating new technology or making it accessible to consumers, and that is only considering the engineering and cs side of the college. chemistry and bio departments here also have a lot of prestige and advancements associated with the uni

Set aside personal goals to raise two awesome kids?
cant be that awesome, considering you said you would execute them in a heartbeat if you found out they had a disability

Glad that people were arrested this time.

Having kids doesn't make your baseless assumptions have any more foothold in any topic. I know you like to be preachy and all but you should really read up on your source material before trying to make blanket statements like this. You're not doing anyone any favors by preaching to us, anyways. Unless you want to personally fly down to CA to protest the protesters, you're not articulated enough to sway people's opinions here.

It's an internet forum. No one is having their opinions swayed. They just have stuff opinions and protest dumb stuff because they have daddy money to live on. If you're at Berkeley on a scholarship you're not gonna be protesting.

it's also easter break

You have a jaded and misinformed perspective on the average college kid. There are plenty of people who attend UCB on FAFSA and scholarships, meaning they worked hard to get where they are. This is just classic neo-con anti-intellectualism whereby you put everyone more smarter and successful than you into a box, where they're all a bunch of entitled kids who never tried hard to get where they are in life.

Having the moral integrity to not be a dead-beat to your offspring is the bare minimum integrity required of someone who has children. Other people never had kids to begin with so that they could go to college. You are not entitled to stuff on their accomplishments just because your life took a dramatic tangent.

If you're at Berkeley on a scholarship you're not gonna be protesting.
literally what is your evidence for this? two of the biggest social activists I know both grew up poor and attend schools on academic merit scholarships

Actually, hold up a second. Something just clicked in my mind. You aren't Goth77, are you?
