are you thinking v8 is the one that added events and add-ons? becuase that's false, v9 was the update that did that, and v9 is yet to be found. (closest is v8 and v13)

Anyone remember RGB light animation? It was something put in before events were added, I remember seeing a video of it but I can't find it.

Add-Ons were still possible in V8, but they were much less simple to install than the "drag and drop" method of now.
