as a complete loving idiot, i can confirm this

but it'll all be okay because we'll get to have more touchscreen options for the site and a Sleeker(tm) and more Innovative(tm) minimalist design
i really loving hate how the internet is turning towards a mobile-friendly scheme for everything
more blank space and information is being spread out from top to bottom more and requires a lot more scrolling than it used to
MORE MORE MORE holy forget i need to learn how to not do that

I blame Twitter and their abused child called Bootstrap. Need a "sleek" and "mobile friendly" website? Hey why not just download the default MVC Bootstrap template, change some text, and bam there you go.
Now we have thousands of these identical Bootstrap sites that require 10 miles of scrolling to navigate, and it's a vicious cycle because the more of them there are, the more people think it's the new gold standard design philosophy and copy it.

YouTube's becoming so minimalist one day every video will just be a red box with a play button
One day youtube wont exist and Vid.Me will

But one day in the future it will be a red window that plays white noise when you press on it
it will stream the videos in raw binary format so you can translate the data yourself

Not unless you download the special phone app and create an account to use it and create a unique QR code to verify your account and translate the data into a video
