Author Topic: Computer and Web Browsers acting strange lately  (Read 602 times)

So, some days ago, my Antivirus told me there was a virus and that it was blocked, then it said that there was an infected program (i dont remember well the name of the file, but i think it was called Kitty.exe) and that it had to check the computer. It told me there was 3 infected files which names i dont remember (i have bad memory), and when i wanted to eliminate them, it told me those archives were on the Windows folder, so i did nothing, and sometimes it tells me about the same files

Should i delete them?

Now, for the web browsers

For some strange reason,Chrome and Mozilla Firefox were added to my desktop when i put them into a folder with all types of programs, and since i didnt need Firefox, i decided to un-install it. But the direct access was still in my desktop, and i could use it even if i un-installed it.

And now, in Chrome, it randomly tells me to sign-up in Google+ and when i want to search things, it also randomly tells me to sign up OR it searches it on another page

Can somebody help me?

(Sorry if this had some grammatical errors, im kinda busy)

run malwarebytes
do whatever it says to do

Bump

run malwarebytes
do whatever it says to do

I basically did this but now my computer acts slower after doing everything it says and sometimes has errors and i have to re-start the computer

Hello Kitty or Kitty should be removed, then you should run malwarebytes and if there is still malware or hyperlinks instead of text, ads etc then run HitManPro

if malwarebytes doesnt work, try hitmanpro
its also really good
