The incentive to overachieve in a capitalist society is money. Money can be translated into goods and services, so the more goods or services you provide (through either being more efficient or more skilled/learning a desirable trade) then that translates to more money in your pocket, and in effect, more goods and services you can consume. You can live a VERY comfortable life if you overachieve in capitalism. In communism you don't get anything extra except maybe recognition, so there is very little incentive.
If you don't achieve at all in capitalism, or you're born into unsavory circumstances, you're most likely gonna keep getting forgeted over by capitalism until you die. I'm not a communist and I don't pretend it's a good system for redistributing wealth, but the idea that capitalism can provide people with very comfortable lives outside of a select lucky few is out there.
Unless you're completely stuff with money and make really bad personal decisions you won't be very poor your entire life
did this man just SOLVE poverty?? insane..
- someone who's never had to seriously worry about money
Hey capitalism is great, god bless america. Get this commie nonsense outta here.

That's why their only depiction of workers who despise capitalism are liberal college students.
you physically cant consume anything without contributing to capitalism. starving yourself to make a political point wont make any difference in america's economy.
