I don't think her comment is inherently anti-progressive. It's pretty typical celebrity stuffposting, which is what Twitter is for. The media clings onto it waiting for a story. Nevertheless, times are changing and being left wing isn't popular anymore anyway. A sensitive audience will always find a way to be offended, which is why these stories get so much mileage. She hasn't really ruined anything.
