in your price range
1440p with 60hz 5ms response time

i'd still recommend going for an actual gaming monitor with 1080p and 144hz instead, eg. I have a xl2411
but if you can't run 144hz or dont want to and just want qhd over full hd it's your life and choice

a nice benQ 1080p one is where its at

4k only when you have a budget of $600+
never do 1440p. stuffty up/down scaling just dosnt fly with me.

175 knows what's up

these things are solid as a rock and you'd future proof yourself, even if you cant do 144hz rn you'll eventually upgrade and end up stuck with 60hz screen that you'll need to upgrade next

1440p is nice sure, but 1080p will go a long way into the future

I'll probably go 1080p then.

get a 1080p 144hz if you can
the refresh rate makes a difference

the only monitor you need

Is 75hz a bad idea?
The new games I own only go up to 100fps on my system, so is it a good compromise or is there some negative downside?

Personally I'd much rather have an IPS panel monitor than a TN with ultra low refresh. You'll get your best picture quality with 1440p IPS. You'll have much more of a bitch of a time getting 144 to be consistent, where resolution is consistent no matter your framerate (id weigh resolution more of a priority over refresh).

dude you're still using that bulky version?

you gotta upgrade to this sucka

ever consider 21:9

Is this a good choice?

Its marked at 60hz on acers site

Is this a good choice?
meme

That's pretty basic, doesn't even mention what the response time is.
