It's bad because you can't see anything at all when you're banned. Meaning you can't even browse the forum to get stuff like mods or worlds, or just browse it for fun.
What if you clear your cookiez or get a new computer?
It's wierd, but they know you by ip or by a cookie. Since you have to make a new account to view alot of stuff like some user profiles and groups, it gets really damn annoying. New accounts need to be verified, which is actually good, but you will be turned down if you use mailinator or anything. Even with a brand new gmail and a new ip, they'll know it's you because of a cookie. Or something.
