Author Topic: what kind of servers do YOU want to see?  (Read 4123 times)

I'm going to have a good amount of time to host this summer, but I'm not sure what exactly to host. I'd like to hear your thoughts on what I should host, I have access to a dedicated server

a cool sport server. not necessarily a real sport, but something original that puts 2-3 teams against each other in short-medium length rounds. deathball or some stuff idk. we've just never had any servers like it and ive had the idea for a while but can't build

advanced dragon erp

a nice fast paced server with clear simple gameplay mechanics that you can drop into and drop out of with ease

this would have poorer user retention, but overall more users
a lot of servers that are too long paced like murder mystery, city rpg, merp take a forgetton of time to get into and only appeal to a small subset of people

simon says hosted on something other than a potato

some ideas that have swollow's general idea:
sniper vs runners
generic tdms with low win cap/koth gamemodes
escape the [thing] server (havent seen one of these for years)

i want to see more deathmatches using bushidos quake like pack

i saw one like a year ago called "get out of hell" where u drove a car thru a track while the other team chased you as giant xenomorphs, was actually pretty fun lol

Something in style of Mutalisk's Heros vs Monsters

I had this idea of a airdrop dm

I've always been a huge fan of fort wars

something easy to get into and leave

battlemix is an example of one i could just enter play then leave because its immediate fun
