Microphone not working

My microphone is not detecting any sound, I've checked all of the settings, turned up volume, set default device, updated drivers, re-installed them, but nothing seems to work.

Any recommendations on what I can do?

This is the headset I use, the headphones work but the mic doesn't, it used to work just fine but now I went onto discord with my friend and it didn't work, I then tried to fix it but to no avail.

Right so I've tested other Microphones and the only problem I'm having now is that Discord won't detect it, I guess it's just the microphone on my headset is broken.
