Author Topic: Is downloading RAM legit? No, no it loving isn't.  (Read 2047 times)

I've got 8 GB of installed RAM on my computer, and I have Windows 10 Pro, which allegedly supports either 512 GB or 2 TB of RAM. I've heard downloading RAM is a thing but it doesn't sound real and I've got a feeling there might be caveats with it.

can someone fill me in please

RAM is entirely a hardware thing, and you can't really download hardware through the internet.

i've downloadeded lots and lots and lots of ram before and it works pretty good computer is lot faster very good i try recommend it

It's hardware, you need to buy new ram

I downloaded like 16gbs of ram I could run starwars battleback very well.

RAM is Hardware, so you'd have to go to an electronics shop or purchase it online
Theres different kinds of RAM too, so you'll have to pick the right type and size for your system
And then you'll have to open up your computer and install it

personally imo i wouldn't go for the 32, kind of overkill - but hey take what you can get am i right

i downloaded a new motherboard, old one died, although i needed best buy to give me a cd to upgrade my graphics card
