Author Topic: What feeling do you get when you see happiness/positivity?  (Read 1120 times)

Just a weird curiosity.  Is the Blockland Forum the Place For Cynical Motherforgeters(TM)? Let's find out.

you know you've hit rock bottom when you dislike seeing people happy

They're not being happy the right way and as such must be corrected.

if you didn't answer "i like it": ?

like what are you happy about srsly

well i mean like half my posts are like that now so ye

online happiness can make me sorta uncomfortable when it sounds forced but usually it's alright

To me, seeing happiness or positivity (fake or real) online is really startling-- even more startling when directed towards me.  Seems that in the end, regardless of whether everyone wants to or not, everyone is some degree of starfish, me notwithstanding.  So that, in combination with a naturally cynical mindset I have, clashes with experiences of seeing or experiencing positivity.  Even a simple "<3" or "hiya", when sincere, just takes me off guard for this very reason.

maybe u just need to be a lil more positive <3

at least its an obvious joke
