I don't doubt you have to do 'something' to get shot by the police, but whether that 'something' is brandishing a knife or just reaching for your ID during a traffic stop can depend on race.

Reaching for your ID after being pulled over by a police officer will probably get you killed no matter what race you are. The racially-motivated part of the story is the fact that you're more likely to be pulled over if you're non-white through the driving while black laws. if you're more likely to be pulled over because of your race you're also more likely to encounter a situation where the police officer has to shoot you, whether it be reaching for your ID or moving the wrong way

ever since i learned about the taqiyya, i cant help but not trust anyone. its a shia principle by origin, but the fact it holds such a prominent place in the faith just bothers me. sunni muslims appear to condemn it which is nice since shia muslims are the majority of these terrorist attacks

but the fact the religion has an actual doctorine almost considering it an obligation for its followers to lie about the faith to others just doesnt sit well with me. definitely does not seem like something you should flood a country with en masse

the french health service privatisation is pretty good, not too sure how it works but it seems like it's a sort of deposit system where you're reimbursed in some way
