What
the actual contention being talked about is here:
i'd love to see anyone here post a link or any kind of evidence that shows the actual black lives matter organization condoning or inciting actual violence against white people
sounds to me like this is a thread full of people who have never bothered to research what blm actually is, what their intentions are, and the things they actually do as an organization
in short, the claim that BLM as a centralized entity is actively inciting violence is unproven. of course, BLM isn't a centralized entity in the first place, so it's a rather difficult claim to substantiate
No, the point is, BLM has spread these ideas that culminate with a BLM supporter shooting police in Dallas, vitriolic anti-cop rhetoric propagating in black neighborhoods and among young, white liberal college students, and the further division of race and erosion of race relations. What they want at the heart of their movement doesn't mean stuff if they do nothing to cast out the people who call for violence under their name. The leaders don't condemn anything, they only deflect or keep their mouths shout and say nothing at all. BLM rhetoric leads to rioters being encouraged in their ranks. I could understand if I saw any of their self-proclaimed leaders like that effeminate looking rich kid on youtube or that one girl in Canada that begged for Allah's help to not "kill these white people today" said these people don't represent BLM but they haven't so what else are we to say?
to address what you're saying, it's fair enough to separately argue that somehow the structure of the BLM movement makes riots somehow more likely, however this seems unlikely to me. understanding
how riots actually happen (sources in description of video if you'd rather look over those), and the
nature of the issues that sparked the BLM movement, it makes much more sense that these riots are just like any other in history. they aren't the fault of any centralized entity or national collective, they're just a climax of tensions that have been rising for years and years; a last resort for people who are miserably lacking in political efficacy and feel that massive demonstrations of discontent are the only way that they can seek representation.
