shoot into the crowd

You take a holy image of yourself, making yourself look majestic with a pistol. "Do not fret, my followers! I forgive you, unless you serve me, and work under my empire!".

They suddenly look quite confused, looking at you. "But, in the Cześć grzmotu, it says that we are free to jo-", you interrupt him,
saying "Just shut up and come with me."

Once you get home, you call for your finest craftsman. "Listen, you must redesign this weapon, and mass-produce it.", he looks confused, "What is it, my lord?", you respond plainly, "A gun.". The craftsman says, "Alright then.". The craftsman takes the weapon, taking it to his company so they can create more of them for the military.

A few uneventful months later, the demand for guns in the military is filled, and they are all armed with pistols. The only gun they know how to make. Unfortunately, the soldiers dont even know what it is. There's even some casualties when they are trying to examine the weapon. How do you encounter this problem?

teach them nto to shove it up their arses or mouths and teach them how to aim and shoot

offer a demonstration of the weapon in front of the crowd of many and allow them to test it themselves

Time to spread capitalism across all the barbarians.
Get a pair of sunglasses and a couple of bards/singers/whatever the forget and tell them to sing our anthem

teach your guards how to use the hunk of metal also known as a gun

You walk in front of your confused troops, and shout at them, catching all of their attention. "Troops! I will show you how to operate this weapon!
It is no toy! It must be treated with respect, or it will kill you. Now, pay attention!".

The units who supported you in the Battle of Moreme were given the highest respects, and ranks by yourself. Seeing as they were completely capable of protecting you, and themselves perfectly, and efficiently. They walk behind you in a disciplinary fashion.

"10s, put that barrel in front of me, and distance it away from me.", you command of them.

And they do so, placing an empty barrel in front of you about 70 or less yards. As they retreat to your side, you take aim down your weapon's iron sights, keeping the front piece within the silhouette of the barrel.

You focus deeply, so much so that all sounds drown out from around you, and tunnel vision encloses over your eyes, and your vision centers on the wooden barrel.

After some time, you finally pull down on the trigger of the weapon, setting several pieces within the intricate weapon in motion, in which causes the shell within the gun's chamber to fire off a bullet.

*THUNK!*

The bullet connects, and enters the barrel. As the bullet blasts through the barrel, splinters fly outward in force as the bullet goes through the thin layer of wood. It is quickly discharged out of the other side of the wooden barrel, spinning quickly until it finally loses momentum, and tumbles to the ground.

You discharge more bullets into the wooden barrel, some missing, and some hitting.

The men behind you flinch quietly each time you fire off a round.  They are unfamiliar with the thundering sound of gunfire, so of course they would. But they never move, watching you as you fire semi-accurately to the berral.

Once you run out of bullets in the magazine, you turn around to face your soldiers.

"Now I believe that you understand what the weapon can do?", you question your soldiers.

"Aye, my lord!", they all answer in unison.

"Good, you are all dismissed. We will be leaving in a few days to encounter some troubling barbarians in the northern fringes of our territory, be prepared!", you warn your troops, walking away afterwards.

As night falls, you stay within your command tent, observing the map, and trying to make a strategy before you and your army of 1,200 men march to assist the army in the north with Barbarians.

You hear the tent's folds shifting as a soldier pops in the tent, he says, "Apologies my lord, but we have received shocking news from the southern post.". He makes his approach, stopping half-way from the table. "We have reports of the giant ball, Uvrindies, rolling past the post, and towards the capital. We need to intercept the beast so it doesn't attack the capital.".

You process the information, during which the soldier approaches the table, looking down onto it. You finally speak, "Do you know the exact location of Uvrindies on the map?", "Yessir, its here.".

He pats the map on the table, indicating a rough location of the beast. "If I accounted for distance correctly, he should be right here.".

"Anything else?", you question the soldier.

"Certainly, the giant has not moved since they have spotted him in Fort Harvensgard. There are reports of barbarians too, but that is unofficial.", he answers, sounding grave.

"We need to prepare for the worst, send the reserves from the southern-most fort to Fort Harvensgard, the northern fort can wait.", you command.

"Post-haste, my lord!", he does a bow as he leaves the tent.

You mold a piece of clay, and set it on the table to where the beast is. You can remember the three beasts swallowing up that larger, purple ball. It was gruesome. We need to move by day, hopefully he will still be there. Do we need anything else before we go?
