Ryde goes over to Norum, tapping his shoulder. "You think anyone called the fuzz?"

Daniel, against his own better judgement, says forget it and decides to look inside the backpack.

"Wait, what?" He locks his phone and looks up at Ryde, them up to the left, listening in, within a few seconds he hears the sirens, then thinks with pursed lips.

In a hushed tone, he remarks, "Actually... It's possible, but any noise caused earlier what with all the gunshots—why would they come now...? . . . . Either way we need to speed up our work and scram."

"I'm going to check upstairs. You check the bodies and see if they have any warmth and if rigor mortis has set in."

Norum walks back into the building and calls out Daniel's name as he's looking in the backpack.

You unzip the backpack to reveal two gallon jugs of yellow liquid, connected to a mess of wires and a hand held radio. The get a whiff of the pungent odor of gasoline.

Ryde goes over to Norum, tapping his shoulder. "You think anyone called the fuzz?"

Norum walks back into the building and calls out Daniel's name as he's looking in the backpack.

There are no bodies left, only casings and spatters of blood. The sound of sirens are getting louder.

The only 'upstairs' is the raised office, which is empty.

Jae notices that it seems a few items have been disturbed in his house. He is still overcome with coughing from what ever irritant was in the box.

     Daniel turns off the radio.

Norum realizes that there's no way a thorough investigation can be done here.

He places his index and middle fingers in his mouth in a V shape, and calls out to the other two, in a muddled voice, "Alright, this place is a bust. Keep your faces down and ywour voices disguised. There's probably security here. You hear 'em coming. We don't have mucsh time to lwose. We gotta clear out, now."

Norum begins walking toward the door through which they entered, and when he arrives at the door, he would peak out to see it anyone is there.

Ryde follows Norum out, stuffing his pistol in his jacket.

Should he succeed in turning the radio off, Daniel would follow the two out.

"What can you do then?"
Her tone is sympathetic.
"I can hit things really hard."

Jae backs away from the box, covering his nose and mouth  with his sleeve, in a futile(?) attempt to smother his cough.
He takes note of what was disturbed, too.

    Daniel turns off the radio.

The button does nothing.

There is nobody around. The sirens are getting awful loud, and you get a feeling that you cannot stay any longer.

Ryde follows Norum out, stuffing his pistol in his jacket.

This happens.

You get away from the box and hack a couple more times, but getting away helps a bit.

Furniture seems like its been run through and lazily put back together, as if someone were searching for something. Your TV is missing.

A HUD element immediately warns you to someone you can see through the crack in the door. The awful odor is penetrating, and overwhelming. There's a homeless man with a lighter lighting a bowl, and there's a backpack full of stolen groceries next to him.

"I can hit things really hard."

"Beating on cars is insurance fraud, though, that's the only work where you can hit things hard right now,"

Daniel turns to Norum and Ryde, an alarmed look on his face, "There's an improvised bomb here," he said, and began to jog over to the two, keeping an eye on the explosive.

"Beating on cars is insurance fraud, though, that's the only work where you can hit things hard right now,"
"Well, I'm not a complete piece of stuff so I think I'll pass on the opportunity to smash random people's things for money."

"Leave it! This place is lost." He waits for Daniel to arrive before saying in a softer tone, "We need to get out of here, now!"

Norum looks around quickly for the subway station which they came through, a route to it, of in unsuccessful, a nearby building, alley or even a container they could hide in.
