Is it wierd I only hear my tinnitus when im taking a stuff?

So apperently my hearing damage turned into or already was tinnitus but for some reason I only hear the beeping or whatever when im on the toilet. I dont notice it at all when im sleeping, well sometimes but im kinda used to it so it doesnt bother me at all, or doing anything but sitting on the toilet. What the actual forget? I should see an ear doctor actually to be sure.

If anyone asks I got hearing damage when someone fired a loud ass gun next to my ear without protection because im loving handicapped
