Author Topic: Any scary stories that happened to you?  (Read 2394 times)

I have two stories.

When I was about five, or six. I don't remember. But, I was laying down in bed and My TV was on, It was getting late at night, and I was getting tired, as I rolled over on my side to go to sleep, (the way my doorway is positioned is that when you turn left, the doorway, dining room and a bit of the living room is visible) and, I swear, In the doorway of the dining room, there was a woman, about 5'4 or 5'7, floating about a foot off the ground, she was glowing... glowing pink... I don't remember any facial features, but she was dressed in a pink frilly dress that looks like it's from the 1800's or 1700's, and she just... loving glides from the doorway of the dining room into the living-
room,
Me being little, I was scared stuff-less and this practically made me go to sleep.

Not to long ago, about a year ago, I was on my couch on a school night with my laptop, about 2 or 3 AM I thought I saw a shadow of a tall man in the corner of my vision, I just blamed it on being tired, and then, a few minutes later, I thought I saw the same figure crouch and run into the kitchen, but halfway there it just. loving, vanished.

Not that scary when you think about it.

i looked out the window and i saw a black man
okay seriously

this happened so long ago and i remember it so vaguely it may have been a dream but here we go

when i was like, 6 or 7? maybe older? my mom went to the bathroom inside a Walmart and i sat on a bench outside waiting for her. This weird, old man wearing a bike helmet walked up and sat with me and tried to hold my hand, and just spoke in broken English that didn't make sense, not like a foreigner, like a special-needs person. He also kept calling me Ethel or something, even as a little kid I knew something was wrong with this dude and I wanted nothing to do with him. I think he just got up and left and I told my mom about him and she was super worried. I kinda think this was a dream though, because I vividly remember my mom making me go into the bathroom with her (not the stall, just the room) when I was that young, she would have NEVER just left me outside.

I was at six flags 5 or 6 years ago, I looked into the sky above a roller coaster and a black fuzzy thing hit me in the face and knocked me over. I stood up, and there were a handful of people around, but not one person even turned to look at the child (me) that randomly collapsed on the ground, and even stranger whatever that black thing was, was nowhere to be seen afterwards.

I learned that I have a mild case of thalassophobia when I jumped off a dock into a 20ft deep lake and couldn't see the bottom

Around six months ago or so I was visiting my parent's house and had decided to stay up all night because I'm bad at sleeping like that. Anyways, I'm just sitting in the living room working from my laptop when the doorbell suddenly rings. I look at the clock and it's like 3:30AM, I was kinda just frozen because there is no rational reason someone would ring a doorbell at night like that unless it was a prank. I calmed down after a few minutes and enjoyed the rest of my night uninterrupted. Told my family about it the next morning and none of them said they had heard it, despite it being an absurdly loud doorbell. At this point I figure it was probably a fluke, since the doorbell is wireless it's totally possible a random signal had caused it to activate erroneously.

Not really scary, but it freaked me out for a few minutes so I think it counts.

I reached for my closet door... and then a skeleton popped out!

about like a few years ago i was in my room at sunset playing a game until i saw like, a face swoosh in a split second. i believed in ghosts at the time and i was kinda loving scared, i saw it with the reflection of my lamp. i got out and got to the backyard (that's where my window faced towards at)  with a metal bat thinking there was a trespasser but i didn't see anyone.
