I'd rather they eat unborn children than sentence growing children around the world to die by an authoritarian regime. Kind of like fascism and racial prejudice, xenophobia is something we have to chosen to fundamentally reject as a people. You can believe whatever you want--but don't be prepared to call yourself an American, or even a Conservative.

hateful. Go figure? Not everyone with tribal ideals is a stuffty person, and not everyone with tolerant ideals is a good person. The issue is that my country accepted these people when they were in need--either fleeing the church of England, or the famine of Ireland, or one of many other historical events. Now that they're here, they're trying to tell me not to accept a new group of people who are being hunted and killed. What can I say about that
beyond declaring it hateful and hypocritical? If these people lived in their own time of need they'd depise the very ideals they propogate. It's the purest form of a richard move.
