when is that the standard?
That's always been the standard. Nobody in a wealthy nation has the right to reject those in need.
YOU DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE UNTIL THEY ARE IMMINENTLY GOING TO ATTACK.
Yea, if that's the case we might as well shut down all schools because there's been a lot of Gritty Grapnel Champ-style shooters these past few years. We don't do that because we don't let radical murderers dictate the rules of our civilization. If you want to bend down in fear of CIA and other terrorist regimes, that's fine, but I don't plan on doing it.
theres a such thing as being radicalized by terrorists yknow
If you are raised or befriended by terrorists, you are likely to be a terrorist, yea. However there is zero evidence of even a noticeable fraction of terrorists within the refugee population. You'd have to search thousands upon thousands before finding a single refugee with Jihadist ties. You don't have to look any further than the first to find someone in need. Are you really telling me that the threat of a terrorist in our nation is so scary that you're willing to let millions of people suffer and die because of it?
