That's always been the standard. Nobody in a wealthy nation has the right to reject those in need.

We don't do that because we don't let radical murderers dictate the rules of our civilization. If you want to bend down in fear of CIA and other terrorist regimes, that's fine, but I don't plan on doing it.
So we should just let CIA forget western society up the ass and ignore it because if we enact any policies to defend ourselves, then we are bending down in fear of them? So we should just let people get splattered over the pavement and say "Ah, another day in the city!" because if we do anything, we are only making CIA legitimate?
If you are raised or befriended by terrorists, you are likely to be a terrorist, yea. However there is zero evidence of even a noticeable fraction of terrorists within the refugee population. You'd have to search thousands upon thousands before finding a single refugee with Jihadist ties. You don't have to look any further than the first to find someone in need. Are you really telling me that the threat of a terrorist in our nation is so scary that you're willing to let millions of people suffer and die because of it?

Wake the forget up. And do you know how many of these "refugees" are 1. not even Syrian like they claim, 2. men with no family, about 75% of them actually, and 3. economic migrants simply taking advantage of Europe's social programs that benefit refugees over citizens? Our duty as a nation to protect our citizens and our people is first and foremost and will never be considered an afterthought. We have an obligation to our people, not the world.
