If you don't like prop bricks then leave the thread, stop stuffting it up

If you don't like them that doesn't give you the right to go "forget you" right in my face by saying my mod, that I've been spending 2 months on both learning and modeling is loving worthless. forget off.

Actually I think there could be a compromise there, you could maybe make individual modular things to use in bigger (or smaller) props, for example you could make a vent that would look much better than just a round:

It could be used in multiple scenarios and people could shape the whole AC as they see fit. Maybe even make some grilles for the sides to replace that black part. It will actually allow a lot more customization since you would not be limited by the precise sizes of the actual AC brick.

I actually like the idea of packaging what would require several bricks into a single brick. It makes it easier to use when creating game-modes, especially in stuff like CRPG where some bricks are restricted/cost money/have certain functions, like drugs for example.

people who get in the habit of using prop bricks usually don't build up any building skills.

Most people who play this game will never build up any building skills because it is too hard. I'd rather see a build with a prop detail I saw somewhere else than it just simply have no detail lol. The majority of the servers that actually see the light of day these days are ones that are made quickly and lazily.

yeah not many have the patience to learn how to build, let alone build a lot.

i like modular bricks too (see my vending machine brick pack) since it allows better event support and bricks have more uses, but i definitely agree with rally that prop packs have value and think this is one of the best prop packs out there in terms of quality, aesthetic, and content

don't take it so personally. i said your models look really great but they just look out of place for being bricks. and i say the same thing for pretty much every single prop pack ever made, not just yours. plus, let me just address the elephant in the room and say that daniel s's brick pack is ugly and a part of me completely dies whenever i see someone use his bricks for anything.

this is a list of every single 3d model ive ever made in the past two years. so dont think that i dont understand what struggle you've been going through the past two months making this brick pack. my hat pack, which i started on two years ago when i was learning to model, I didn't finish and release until november. several of those hats i scrapped and some i remodeled because i didnt think they were good enough. most people didnt care though, everyone craved my hats before i released them. guess how many people actually use my hats? literally nobody. same goes for the Mad Missile Launcher which i poured out my soul to create. nobody uses it. i haven't seen a single server use the mad missile.

anyways, im not gonna tell you to stop making models. a lot of people are giving you positive feedback from it. i'm just trying to speak on behalf of the people who have poured their heart out in this game with their spectacular building skills. (keep in mind none of them just magically became good builders)

prop bricks with multiple uses are fantastic. a great example would be rallyblocks and WhoooMans stuff. i have downloaded almost every brickpack they've made recently because the bricks open up your mind to get even more creative. a prop brick that serves no purpose than to be planted once by itself so you can brush the dust off your shoulders shouldn't exist.

way to set a standard for blockland. a building game where nobody knows how to build anything.

i use your hats :(

Again trogtor this is a pack made for people who simply don't have enough patience or literally can't build to a certain extent of detail without some help prop props (like me and plenty other very skilled builders i know. Even khaz who is on brickitect levels of skill actually loves my pack and how everything looks compared to Daniel S)

Just because you think prop packs line mine are worthless and such, it doesn't mean you can just shove your opinion in such a way to where it's just loving insulting. (Ie: saying props are uncreative and lazy, my models shouldn't be bricks, and much more.) How would you like it if I came to your hat thread going "these dont belong in blockland, they are really lazy and uncreative"

But trogtor is right, and you are wrong. he even tells you not to take it personally and you act like you were hit by a bullet

forget your convoluted "standard" for Blockland lmfao. You could be the best builder in Blockland history and still use props. It's about developing a style, and that could just as easily incorporate prop bricks.

So I'm wrong for not liking someone directly calling my prop pack useless in building and uncreative? forget you and forget off.

I'm creating this pack to benefit the community, not to get stuff on and get my loving hard work insulted with terms like "useless" "lazy" and "uncreative."

i think its great that youre having fun making these and tbh ive always wanted an interactive microwave so thank u keep going

First off, good job on flaming.

Second off, they are useless. I mean, if you added some good stuff to it like moving knobs or something it would actually be good but it's just another brick that can easily be replaced by many others which already exist.

Seriously? He's putting a forgetton of work into this and you're stuffting all over it because they're "useless". Can you at least be more respectful to the guy?

Thank ye and I'm glad you'll be able to benefit from this! I definitely will keep goin with this

Can you forget off already? You don't have to outright loving insult me. Would you rather I not release this pack and keep it private, which will end up creating huge backlash towards me and end up bumming out many members of the community who are looking forward to this?

Get off your high horse and forget off.

Also, this will unfortunately kill creativity too, with people instead of building their own custom microwave or such, using these excuses. I understand you worked hard on them, but now Blockland will simply be "Blockland", but without all the building. Soon after, we might even see already built houses!
