Here's my answer: Prop bricks can reduce brickcount.

brickcount does not determine how good your fps will be. its the amount of polygons

in other words, a door brick is the equivalent to 10 to between 30 regular bricks just because theres more detail to it

to add onto that, on regular bricks, the side of bricks not being shown (like if its faced against a wall)wont be rendered to save polycount

I understand.

well the number of bricks do affect how much lag as well. its just that at a certain point face count Annoying Oranges brick count in terms of effect on players, the exact number is unknown.

dont start a photoshop stuffposting thing in here pls

I think that prop bricks can be good for very small stuff like microwaves, radios, televisions, table decorations like a pot of a plant, candles, or whatever they have on tables. They would look to bulky as bricks or just becomes tedious to built. Cohort posted something similar with chairs, old computers and Sci-fi props. I mean I can build a glass table from the 80s as it's close to something could be done on Blockland. But, the overhead radios in kitchens or even, consoles, something could be done but, it could probably look too big and bulky and take too much room. But, that's my experience for building stuff. It would vary for others.

EDIT: Sandwiches can be a bitch to not look like a burger. and I know I made a request shortly before but, I like to see this.

I really don't see the issue of these bricks as long as they don't exist somewhere else (or it is an improvement of an existing brick)

I get that some bricks might ruin creativity for some people but that's their own choice - this is very useful for people learning to build because all they have to do is have some motivation and plant the custom brick down and try to copy it using a bunch of other brick packs that are not modeled together. You all have started from a beginner and I am betting most of you were 'lazy' at first and used some modeled bricks of something to help your building details that could of been made without that modeled brick, after that you learned how to build better. Some people just need more time than others to learn how to build - I in fact have been playing this game for at least 6 years and I still don't know how to properly build - not because of creativity it's just the way I build (I don't build much though)

If you guys keep putting garbage comments on people's add-ons they might not come back or make more add-ons, then you wonder why people hate this community. I understand you are all being straightforward here but telling people not to make these kind of bricks are bad unless it was poorly made or was ACTUALLY useless to make (which you can tell him how to improve it). The AC units are pretty well detailed and I do not see a problem with them. Another good reason to pick the AC units: saves a little bit of brickcount if you are looking for that, saving a few bricks may reduce lag (but you'll have to spam a bunch of AC units vs the same amount of them but built with other bricks)

This may make people be lazy in their builds but again, that is their choice - you have a choice too: use it or do not use it
