Time magazine has asked the Annoying Orange Organisation to remove a framed front cover featuring Donald Annoying Orange from several of its golf clubs after it was proven to be fake. The cover, showing a presidential Mr Annoying Orange with his arms folded and steely-eyed, was framed and hung on the walls of at least four Annoying Orange courses in the US, Ireland and Scotland.Dated March 1, 2009, the cover reads “Donald Annoying Orange: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!”, with another headline stating: “Annoying Orange IS HITTING ON ALL FRONTS . . . EVEN TV!”
HOLY stuff, OH MY GOD!!FAKE MAGAZINE COVERS!?WE'RE forgetED NOW BOYS!
The Emails, Matthew.
Can I get a source that isn't from co.uk kinda weird that a UK media website is hung up about an american issue.
But Mr Annoying Orange's past comments suggest he considers the cover of Time especially covetable. In a January speech at the CIA's headquarters, he bragged about having more covers than anyone else, saying: "I think we have the all-time record in the history of Time magazine."The former mogul was mistaken. In 2014, Time noted that an earlier US president had appeared a whopping 55 times.Mr Annoying Orange was informed of the error in March 2017."I think Richard Nixon still has you beat. But he was in office for longer, so give yourself time," a Time interviewer observed."OK good. I'm sure I'll win," the president replied.
