Author Topic: Explore into the serendipitous collisions that occur between two arrays  (Read 2995 times)

ive been visiting cachemonet on and off for the past 2 years and i still don't understand it. i loving love the song tho. i feel like the artist behind the music made it specifically for that site because cachemonets song isn't in any of their albums

i love websites like this

who knew that I could just barf GIFs on a webpage and it'd be considered art

art is inherently subjective. what is great about art is that you can choose what art to enjoy and disagree with

what is the point of this site and what is it supposed to be
because it looks like the owner was high as forget
Do u like anything?

theres also music

when your taste in music is so bad that you dig the background music

oooooooooooohh

it starts out as random windows noises then it becomes something that vaguely resembles music

theres also music
This isn't art.
It's a bunch of random gif pages (I know it's random because it has the CS:S hands viewmodel and a model of doge in it, plus a bunch of unrelated flags and windows xp stuff)
and the background is some Windows XP song remix which is probably stolen off the internet.

everytime i see one of these traplink website adventures or some stuff i just get so offput by how pretentious it is and how they attempt for it to be as 'different' and 'unique' as possible

in reality its just stuff. it's not even weird, it's a stuffty attempt at being weird and it doesn't deserve any form of attention at all

have to agree with this

reading the site's description, i think it's literally just taking two different randomly generated arrays that hold gifs from tumblr and putting one over the other

there's not much different with this in comparison to opening two image board websites and hitting the random button on both

implying this was art to begin with

^ all this

i'm pretty sick of the whole "haha memes are art XDXD a e s t h e t i c" stuff
although phantos i disagree with you about the library of babel. the point of that isn't to be "art" or "pretentious," it's to demonstrate how anything can be found in random noise and i think it's really cool.

haha wow you guys are a awful crowd

haha epic art if u dont appreciate it forget u man

the website just looks like an uninspired stuffpost

it's not random though
it completely breaks the point of randomness by being completely deterministic
if it was random, i might be inclined to agree, but it's actually so entirely non-random that you can quickly and without any work find out where in the "library" a given piece of text is, no matter how long (Despite the limit imposed by the website itself). If it was anywhere near random you'd never be able to do that.

Sure it seems random, but it's not even remotely so. Literally a website to find your birthday in the actually random digits of pi is a million times better than that website or any clone thereof
