Author Topic: battle for the net [update]  (Read 7664 times)

I dont understand why politicians are so quick to further condemn themselves in the eyes of an entire generation.
This would actually start conflicts.

bonus: here's the fcc chairman (who actually used to work for verizon!) thats trying to attack net neutrality:

religion of peace...

you're so naive it hurts
Naive for recognizing a blatant failure of capitalism?
at least it didn't fail so often smh
Capitalism's very existence fails the working class.

I'm not saying capitalism is horrible and we should abandon it, I'm just saying it's imperfect and causes issues. All existing economic systems have issues at present. Capitalism is one of the better ones, but it's certainly nowhere near perfect and might not be the best.

no economic system is going to be made in this lifetime or even this century that is ever going to match the power and good brought by capitalism

there's only a dichotomy when it comes to economics, either the government controls the economy or it doesn't
the essence of life in general is that someone's always losing out, so to suggest that capitalism is unique in this regard is handicapped

Capitalism is messed up,

explain your great economic theories to us peasants

Yo, did we win, or did they uninstall net neutrality from every computer's processor?

Well, according to the news it's looking good, but that doesn't mean stuff if they all decide to be richardheads about it anyway.

so much for democracy

I'm not sure there is anyway to impeach the FCC Chairman, but if there is any equivalent that would be fantastic.
