Author Topic: Jodie Whittaker chosen as the first female doctor in Doctor Who tv series  (Read 4358 times)

Apparently the last two seasons have sucked balls anyway.

they are deliberately making the doctor transgender now for the sake of political correctness and "progress".

the new doctor isn't transgender

that's taking the issue out of context. the context is that the doctor has always been a male character (he IS a male character), and they are deliberately making the doctor transgender now for the sake of political correctness and "progress".
Or maybe they just wanted to do a female lead???
Not everything has to be a feminist agenda

yea, they've had 13 male doctors dude. we know timelords can change love (the master did) and since he's also gone from very young to very old to very skinny to very buff (christopher eccelston and matt smith dont act at all similar) I don't think changing genders is a crazy leap

literally loveism

Because the director sucked?
Seriously, J. J. Abrams has absolutely no sense of distance.

Explosion visible from another planet unaided.

Planet is a quarter of the way across the galaxy.

Not to mention how the doom laser even got there. It's clearly slower than light, since, well, we can see it move. We don't see it go into a portal or into hyperspace or anything. How does it cross interstellar distances?

If he can't be bothered to do some basic research on what he's filming (space is big), that probably says something about his approach to directing.

jj abrams is a moron and i agree with you entirely but

how many people watching  the movie actually noticed? the average moviegoer isn't that bright, to be honest. i doubt most people would realize how long that beam would take to hit, not to mention the fact that it wouldn't be visible from distant systems
