Author Topic: First Build  (Read 2120 times)

This is like my first post and I'm trying to see if the images work.

Haha, jpg.png.

When you want to take a screenshot, press Ctrl-P; a screenshot will be saved to Program Files\Blockland\Screenshots.

The build is pretty nice for a newbie. I like the colour window, but the walls are too plain. Add some colour and shape to those bland brown walls!

Here's another screenshot

Now the inside

And the upstairs

Finally, by crawling into the fireplace and hoping onto a brick sticking out of the wall you can get into the upper most part of the house and behind the stain-glass window.

You know you don't have to use 2x2s to build every part of your house. This is a problem that comes almost more often than the unneeded use of 1x1s these days.

And there you have it! My first build. feel free to rate, but ease off on the criticism.

(The fireplace leads to the chimney which leads out side. you can't get in from the chimney but you can see out of it while you're in the attic)

6/10 For First Build. Although I agree with Worm, Less 2x2s. You could use some other bricks also, I love the interior for a first build.

If you see any more builds of mine they're probably going to be just like this. Gothic style, creepy, weird, that sort of stuff. Although I'm new to the Blockland forums I'm not entirely a noob when it comes to building stuff. I know how to use MODs, ADD-ONs, MACROs all the basic stuff.

Wow, that's really good for a first build. I can tell your gonna be an awesome builder later on.

I really like that couch, very modern and artsy!
Pretty good for a first (full version) build.

I thank you for your compliments and suggestions. That is exactly what I want in a post, a compliment or a suggestion on how I could improve my build.
