tl;dr you want those images that have been around for possibly 10 years on your blog or store? pay the forget up starfish

their twitter consists of everyone yelling at them and only responding to compliments

this is loving ridiculous and they know it, almost 25% of old webpages, images and forum posts are now busted because of this stuff and you have to pay a literal ransom to get them back

nobody was given warning either which is being an absolute cunt

it's imageshack all over again but worse

First Imageshack, and now Photobucket is going to trash

Imgur master race

noticed this aswell
even if imgur has a potato as a server its still better

well the point is nothing free and good lasts forever without some kind of way to make money. im worried for imgur in that respect since i cant imagine how they make enough money off the few ads they have to keep the servers going and employees paid

theres a fine line between advertising well and advertising excessively, as sites like mediafire and photobucket did. when it gets excessive you push away users, which drives down ad revenue, and then as a result richard moves like this get pulled (or companies shut down)

the same thing will happen to imgur eventually

the same thing will happen to imgur eventually
Buuut until then, Imgur master race

imgur does have it's own "community" so i'm sure they get a decent amount of ad revenue compared to just image hosting sites

photobucket was always wack

welp, good thing i used a combination of mediafire, leopard hosting and imgur for hosting my photos.
this is complete bullcrap, especially because they gave no warning to people so they could have a chance to download their images.

malw.io was always better
