I played guitar and then went to piano and it was difficult, so I don't see how it could be easier the other way round

I never went to music classes or some stuff, I teached myself.
Well I can but only if both hands are the same rythm/melody or the song im playing has a low bpm.

I'm completely self-taught and I can play with both hands, although my right hand is obviously superior to my left hand when playing 8/8 or 16/16 meter

There we go

Theres an aux input on the amp so im having a lot of fun with that

Reading tabs is stupidly simple compared to treble or bass cleffs so I dont even need to learn to layout of the notes on the thing.
I probably will tough

Ye tabs are pretty invaluable when you're starting out, but I also urge you to try learning simple stuff out by ear. Training your ear is a really important skill to have as a musician.

Ibanez is a good brand, good pick.

as someone who plays bass
do you like your fingers hurting or

o please u get used to it after a month

Wtf this is p easy? Judging from 7 nation army and feel good kek
The only problem is that you really have to push the string down p hard
oh and finger placement, the notes at the top feel so far apart.

Shouldve started doing bass a long time ago.

listen to the bass track of yyz by rush https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPAqEQ1_ctQ

bass is not easy at all, but it also depends on what you play. if you play jazz, it's not gonna be that hard. most rock groups are going to be easy too. geddy lee (bassist in rush) is insane though. i strive to be him.

also, don't read tabs. forget tabs. learn all the notes on the guitar (they're all chromatically set up) and learn songs by ear. it'll help in the long run.

in playing bass, there isn't just hitting notes and fretting, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vUNUo3TbyI

Tabs are fine don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Just don't use them as a crutch.
