There really isn't anything that would warrant the need for it. But if we were to have it, it would be nice to have the server and client control who hears who. So that servers can do team chats and clients can mute individual people.

Why don't we create an app for smart phones that lets you have voice chat separate from your PC and you can mix it together through some sort of mixing adapter?

Surely this isn't a convoluted and completely irritating solution to voice chat.

Anyways... integrated is unlikely but something similar to how Hiveworks did their Block Party audio might work. Separate web page. Match browsers to clients based on which IP they're coming from. No login, just have to approve microphone use.
