maybe you're just permanently intoxicated

i have glasses because my left eye got pretty nearsighted
my eyes adjusted themselves to the point where i can see fine without closing one eye, so i dont really use them that much, although far away lights tend to be blurred

Glasses are cool in that if you do something cool or say something serious you can dramatically take them off and become vision impaired

i had this same issue as a kid and it turned out to be astigmatism

I'm pretty nearsighted but can still see well enough to get my license :P

I'm saving up to get LASIK because I don't really like glasses (they irritate my nose / face after wearing them for too long) and I have super sensitive eyes so contacts are a no go for me either.

contacts are not worth the risk at all.
