A lil backstory

Michelle carter was sending messages to his boyfriend (I think), she was trying to convince him to kill himself

At some point the guy did try to kill himself, by drowning himself in a car (using the exhaust pipe). He got out of the car, but she convinced him to get back in

He eventually did kill himself, and she was arrested, jailed for "murder or manslaughter"

my own narrative? i mean its been proven that white people get lighter sentences than non-whites for the same crimes. i think we covered this back in the brock turner case. both the pusillanimous individual pass and white pass are real phenomenons that result in people getting different sentences based on their gender or race

Yeah it makes no loving sense, this frustrates me deeply. I'd hope if someone managed to convince my girlfriend to kill herself they'd get more than two loving years in jail for it, regardless of gender or race.
