Pokemon Crystal? I remember just doing stuff and had no idea what the forget was going on and trying to parallel the games with the show while playing a character which looked like pixel crap.

The first game I remember seeing being played was Megaman X, by my brothers. But the first one I can remember playing is Yoshi's Island.
