but the convenience is also beneficial in most cases id think
charging speed really doesnt matter if you leave it "plugged in" over night
yeah, when you're sleeping, charge speed doesn't matter too much (unless it takes longer than your personal sleep cycle)
i, however, have had multiple cases where i've spent too much of my phone battery in a small amount of time before having to leave the house. a fast charging speed helps in a pinch.
also, i leave my phone charger in one spot by my bed. i don't plug it into my pc because i don't have an open usb slot, and i only have one cord anyways. it's useful to have a cable that can reach my bed and my desk so i can reach my phone and use it while it's charging. with a wireless charging pad, you have to move your phone and the charging pad. it just seems like an unnecessary extra step.
