good question actually, I think this uses some log rule I've never came across before

y = x², I ended up using symbolab and I was right I have never met that log rule before. pretty neat though because it does line up exactly with that quadratic equation on desmos

to convert bases
log_bx = log_ax / log_ab

log_bx = log_ax / log_ab

iirc if they're the same base you can just cancel the logs on both sides out? unless I'm remembering wrong
