I like dota but not card games.

I'm not a child so I'll just accept this and move on and not cry on the internet.

oh man look out we've got an adult on our hands

I almost wish Steam wasn't such a profitable platform, so that they would actually go back to making great games. My heart is broken.

i know everyone is disappointed cus they were expecting a new major ip or sequel to a major ip, but we haven't even seen the game yet, have we? we don't know how good it is. obvs it's the kind of thing a lot of people aren't going to be interested in, but that doesn't mean it's gonna be a terrible game

what can you honestly expect from a card game

super forgetin stoked my man, can't wait

what can you honestly expect from a card game
probably not much if you don't like card games lol. i mean it's like elder scrolls legends, nobody asked for it and nobody expected it, but it's actually a pretty enjoyable game. i don't think it's a genre that too many people here are into tho from the looks of things. i have a friend that's really into em tho so i'm interested for his sake

you know i wouldn't mind if valve made a card game if they actually made other games. they're just jumping on the bandwagon to earn some more money.

But what if Half Life 3's development is costing them quadrillions of dollars and this is how they're making up the money to continue it's development?????//

Card games can actually be quite fun.

honestly valve is probably just going to stop making new games all together and keep milking the steam market.

im sorta confused about why valve is thinking making this game. surely everyone who cares about playing card games is already playing them and it already committed to them what with how they all seem to have a paywall to get a good deck. i guess they're trying to reach the steam-only market with this game, but i get the feeling its not gonna be as successful as they're hoping.

i mean, that's a lot like saying people who care about playing shooter games are already playing them, so new shooters are pointless. people don't tend to dedicate themselves to just one game, if they're a fan of a genre, then they'll probably be interested in at least seeing what new games have to offer. they'll probably also have the best idea about how good the game is and if it has any potential since they're veterans. deck building is part of the appeal of these games too so that probs isn't an issue, especially considering online card games like this one tend to have ranked matchmaking so you don't go against people with god decks from the start

i'd just wait n see, i trust valve to make a decent game, even if it's something outside of the norm for them
