Chili's is great. Out of all the generic restaurants you could choose, Chili's actually has a tasty palette.

It may just be my town's Outback, but they're pretty garbage. Barely anyone even visits the location either. I don't know how they're still even in business.

I got Chili's about a month ago and it was pretty disappointing

I got these Chipotle honey chicken tenders or something, with fries and corn on the cob.

The sauce was overly sweet and had no Chipotle heat, the chicken had an odd aftertaste, the fries were a little limp and had no crispiness, and the corn was wilted and wrinkled.

Applebee's isn't astounding by any means, but at least when I go there, I don't find something wrong with every aspect of the meal

it all depends which chili's you've been to really, i've been into some really good ones from las vegas to here near tarpon springs in florida. stuff's amazing tbh

i've been to an applebee's in california and one in tennessee

thank god the one near me is actually good because the california one is dog stuff. applebees is incredibly variable in quality.
