Not gonna lie, maybe it's just the way it's written out, but it sounded kinda lame lol...
Also I'm totally fine with it always ending in a cliffhanger, but 1 and 2 ended in "Ride into the sunset" type cliffhangers. Where the story is concluded but you are kept alive with loose ends for another story to be made. Ep2 ended with a straight up mid story cliffhanger with absolutely no resolution at all. You are literally on your way to the next task when the game ends. This ending would have been like HL1 or HL2's ending. Put in stasis for another job.
But yeah it sounded pretty lame and not very fleshed out at all. Must not have ever really been in production lol...
High key after this dropped I've lost a lot of love for Valve. With their new horrible cash cow card game announced and the obvious confirmation that HL3 was never being seriously worked on.. they kinda suck lol.
