Flare isnt hard at all >.>, just make the item emit red light and give off smoke.

can't you just give him some time. god i'd like to see you do as good as beachbum.

That is way easy just add a function on the bottom of the weapon scrpit, so that it gives off fire damage.

Flat shade it.
Assuming your using Blender, which it looks like you are, you don't need to worry about flat shading, it will by default. Just DON'T press the set smooth button. If you do, click to set solid button to flat shade it again.

Also, do you even know how to export it and stuff?
