saying something like this
[because black people are more likely to be abused by the police than white people are. ]
awfully feels like painting cops with a broad ass brush
No, that's a fact.

Blacks are also much more likely to commit violent crime, so this isn't necessarily a racism--just because more blacks are killed doesn't mean cops hate blacks. It's a problem of widespread police brutality.

you're forgetting that there's a higher poverty rate thus higher crime rate of black people

you're forgetting that there's a higher poverty rate thus higher crime rate of black people
I didn't forget that, it just wasn't really relevant. Blacks aren't born violent, they just tend to grow up in stuffty places where they have terrible influences. This is because of systematic racism dating back hundreds of years. There's no more institutionalized racism (under the law at least) but most blacks have remained in poverty.

You're completely right, although tribals will deny it. Crime doesn't follow black people, it follows poverty--and blacks tend to be poor.

it's absolutely relevant what are you talking about
it doesnt account for every bit of it but it definitely covers most of it

How is black people being poor a result of racism?

How is black people being poor a result of racism?
it's a result of history for the most part, so racism yea

How is black people being poor a result of racism?
black people were at a government-approved disadvantage for like 200 years or so

black people were at a government-approved disadvantage for like 200 years or so
...But they aren't anymore, for 200 years

...But they aren't anymore, for 200 years
effects of racism didn't just stop happening altogether

...But they aren't anymore, for 200 years
they only stopped being oppressed around 80 years ago. that's not a lot of time in the scale of generations, and at this point there's a mass culture difference between the poor blacks and the middle class whites which makes it more difficult to raise in class

Do you have any proof of this, because this doesn't seem to be right at all.

there's nothing really stopping anyone able-bodied from rising from poverty in the us but their own will to do so

i honestly don't know how you would gather proof of this but the best i can do is that you can tell there's a culture difference considering their standard of living along with the fact that ghetto slang and accents exist and is 100% associated with black people
evidence that it's considerably more difficult to assimilate when you have a differing culture is plain because first generation immigrants don't integrate well into society. also look at how much hate the refugees are getting in the eu
there's nothing really stopping anyone able-bodied from rising from poverty in the us but their own will to do so
i mean if you're determined and naturally smart enough you can but not everybody knows how to or even wants to

I'm sorry, but if you have no proof of this, I can't just take your word for it.
