it's literally right in front if you, i don't know how it's not convincing
I mean, it just seems like the problems plaguing the black community seem to be completely with black people's own power to stop.

they only stopped being oppressed around 80 years ago. that's not a lot of time in the scale of generations, and at this point there's a mass culture difference between the poor blacks and the middle class whites which makes it more difficult to raise in class

just because people start off poorer doesn't mean they can't be successful in life, but with stuff like welfare it's encouraging a continual cycle of stuff

i mean if you're determined and naturally smart enough you can but not everybody knows how to or even wants to
yeah the factors there are obvious, but if someone doesn't have the will to learn or want to leave a bad situation, that's really their own fault.

for example: my current gpa is uh, less than optimal in my senior year and i acknowledge it's my fault that my will to try past subsistence in school was practically nonexistent.

i know in some cases these things can't be helped like being born into a stuff home, or cases of depression and such.

it's a result of history for the most part, so racism yea

Poor excuse. Black people life in self-perpetuated poverty.

I mean, it just seems like the problems plaguing the black community seem to be completely with black people's own power to stop.

This is the truth. The only thing stopping black communities from being not stuff are the people in those communities.

why dont poor people just buy more money?

it makes sense that an entire ethnicity in north america just doesn't have the willpower to stop being poor, it's totally a fabrication that there might be some socioeconomic issue that perpetuates poverty

this just seems likely...

Dude shut up, no one is saying black people as a whole are incapable of rising above poverty. I'm saying the communities do not make any attempt to fix themselves. There is no effort inside black communities that are hurting to do any real change. And instead of encouraging them to look inward everyone wants to tell these people to just blame it on whitey from 200 years ago. It has nothing to do with their race and everything to do with the culture of the communities. And it's honestly annoying as forget when people like you act like all anyone is saying is black people are lazy or something when that's not even half the argument

I'm saying the communities do not make any attempt to fix themselves.

its all the poor people's fault...
